Battle Scars is about lyrical combat. The competition demands intelligent lyricism, it’s not just about ‘dissing’ or offending your opponent. The style, technique, execution and delivery of the lyrical content will be what the contestants are judged on.

Poets, Rappers, Singers, Toasters, Chatters, MC’s and masters of the spoken word, from all styles and genres, come together in one arena to do lyrical combat, in a four round elimination contest to the lyrical ‘death’.

Masters of the Lyrical Arts will enter the arena to do lyrical combat in a four round elimination contest to the death skill style and technique decides who survives, for there can be only one!

£100 to the winner, battles backed by live band.
