Hamlet (myspace.com/hamletirracional), one of the few Spanish bands signed with multinational Roadrunner Records, are an acclaimed and powerful metal band from Spain. Compared with some of the most renowned metal bands including Sepultura, Machine Head, Deftones and Pantera, their shows and musical complexity leave no doubt that they fit suitably in this company. They will be performing live on the second installment of Rock Sin Subtitulo’s new season, as part of their European Tour that will come to an end in London with a one night only show at Brixton Jamm after selling out in most of Spain’s most famous venues.

The greatness of a band can be proved by many different facts or details; a strong discography, the fact that they have survived all kind of trends without losing their own identity, a great live show, a sound that is as fresh now as it was back when they started… All these virtues could be applied to Hamlets career, who will soon celebrate their 20th anniversary. A great success, on its own, for any metal band. But above all, the greatness of a band is proved when it delivers special moments when they have to. In that sense Hamlet could teach a few lessons.

With a demolishing two hour set and supported by London based The Mercy House and The Electric Wasted, the band from Madrid will introduce to the UK audience its latest album release La puta y el Diablo (The Harlot and the Devil, Roadrunner 2009), available for digital download in UK from 15th January through Roadrunner UK. On November 28th ROCK SIN SUBTÍTULOS reached and broke its own attendance record and Jamm was literally taken over by the best atmosphere and party crowd created by the Spanish, so this time they are aiming for more!
