Not only did he fashion Britpop out of his Creation Records imprint and triumphantly return with the Poptone label, he’s also established himself on the club circuit with Death Disco, a haven for punks and jangly shoegazers alike. Manning the decks, expect classics (the guy has managed everyone from Mogwaie to The Charlatans to The Libertines) and the best of the current crop like Glasvegas and Spinnerette. That said, McGee’s sets are notoriously eclectic, spanning punk, indie, rock and always a few surprises thrown in for good measure.
