Brixton Jamm – housed in a storied 18th century inn—boasts a club and live party room, a drinking bar room and an outdoor open-air terrace that have all been loving redesigned and renovated by the creative team behind Night Tales. It means the Club/Live Room hosts an extra 100 people, the stage has been made larger for even more spectacular shows and the whole place has been fitted out with a special install of a new Martin Audio MLA Compact sound system – the same rig used on Glastonbury’s pyramid stage. On top of that, original period features and details such as cornicing and original wooden floors have been revealed and the space now has even more airy character as well as some backstage extras so that even more celebrated live acts can be welcomed in style. Over the last decade Jamm have hosted everyone from Massive Attack to Skepta, The Specials to Happy Mondays, as well as, famously, being the venue for the first ever Adele gig.
